Preview for Penns Valley vs. Marion Center

This Saturday, November 2 at 7p.m. The Penns Valley Rams are coming off of a forfeit against Philipsburg which moves them to 9-1. That win puts them tied for first in the Mountain League but it comes down to head to head and they beat Bellefonte so Penns Valley has won the Mountain League in Football for the first time in school history.

Marion Center is coming off a lose to Meyersdale which puts there record at 7-3. The game between these two will be held at Penns Valley. Penns Valleys national rank is 3634 and their state rank is 114. Marion Centers national rank is 6403 and their state rank is 230.

Stick around after as we will be doing senior night in conclusion of the game. Penns Valley’s senior night was scheduled for last Friday against Philipsburg but since they forfeited, senior night had to be rescheduled. Since Penns Valley did not reschedule another game instead of Philipsburg they had to find a different date to do it. PIAA has a rule against having senior night during a district game. So instead of doing it before and during the game which is not allowed Penns Valley has scheduled it for after where PIAA has no say in what you do after the game. So stay after the game on Saturday to support your seniors.

The Penns Valley football team looks to move on to the next game in districts which will most likely played against Richland. Richlands first round in districts is against Southern Huntingdon but they have forfeited against Richland. Last year the football team lost to Richland in the second round of districts. They look to get revenge on Richland this year and move to the district championship.
