The Penns Valley Lady Rams have been working hard all season and they have accomplished many things. The Lady Rams have a record of 6-8 with wins against Bellefonte, Clearfield, Saint Marys, and Central Mountain. The team is currently ranked tenth in the district and plans to continue on into districts. The team has 4 more in-season games as they head into their final week of the season. Their final game is against Bellefonte in their own home gym which will be a night to honor the seniors as they move on to bigger things. This year, the team graduates four seniors, Kailen Winkelblech, Cammie Upcraft, Brianna Bressler, and Amanda Grove.

Throughout the season, they have had many individual milestones as well. To begin with, Senior middle Cammie Upcraft reached her season goal of 500 career kills. Along with that, she broke the Penns Valley career blocking record as well as the single-season record. Senior outside hitter, Kailen Winkelblech also reached the milestone of 500 career digs. Kailen states, “I am very proud of myself and I have worked so hard to see this achievement, and I am excited to see what the little time left of the season brings”. Both girls are very proud of themselves and thank the team for their help with their accomplishments. In addition to the two seniors’ accomplishments, they have been nominated for CDT Athlete of the Week together. The two seniors were nominated due to their accomplishments and leadership on the court. Hopefully, they represent Penns Valley and get a significant amount of votes.
