Penns Valley has a good history with athletics, but the Rams are off to an excellent start this fall. Through September 15, girls’ soccer, men’s soccer, and football have a combined record of 16-1. The girls’ soccer team is lighting up the Moutain League at 7-0. They currently sit at 2nd in the Mountain League.

Senior Ava VanAmburg says,  “I’m proud of everyone for doing their jobs and staying undefeated. We’re having fun out there.” when she was asked about what she thought of the season. They follow only Clearfield, who has one less win, but more points scored than the Rams.

Penns Valley men’s soccer is currently 6-1 sitting at 3rd in the Mountain League. They are looking to improve and climb in the rankings as the season progresses.

Penns Valley football is 3-0 and at the very top of the Mountain League. They look to improve to 4-0 this Friday against Bald Eagle and gain an even bigger lead on the Moutain League. Jackson Romig said, “We still have things to work on but overall it’s going very well so far.” when asked about the season thus far.

The Rams’ Cross Country teams also look to build upon their successful report cards. The girls are on pace to win their 6th Mountain League title in a row, and the guys are looking to win yet another state title.

Is this recent success foreshadowing future Rams sports seasons? Will the success continue? We don’t know, but we can hope that the victories keep rolling in, and keep cheering for our friends and classmates!
