Penns Valley Girls Volleyball Setting Milestones!
November 4, 2020
The Penns Valley Girls Volleyball Team is off to a rather successful season this year. Out of twenty games the girls have a solid record sitting at 14-6 in the 2020 season. This has the team sitting at a rather impressive 70% win percentage. The girls next game will take place on Monday, November 2nd, 2020 in a district matchup in which the opponent is The United Lions. . Although, throughout the overall success of the team there are also very impressive individual achievements. Hailey Coursen is a senior Setter on the team, while wearing #8 she recently reached a varsity career milestone of 1,000 assists. This is rather impressive considering this is only her second season on the varsity team. It is needless to say that Coursen’s individual success has carried over to the rest of the team and contributed to their success as well. Although Coursen is making memories for herself there are others creating even more of their own personal goals. Senior Libero, Jadyn Butler who wears #6 recently reached another amazing statistic as she reached 1,000 career digs. Butler, who has played Libero for the Rams since her Freshman year has joined elite status in the high school volleyball world for her achievement. One more player to keep an eye on is Junior Middle, Cammie Upcraft. Upcraft, who towers over most opponents wearing #5 eyes up her 200th varsity kill with the United Lions in her sight. Make sure you are keeping track of the Rams district game on Monday, November 2nd, 2020 and stream it on the Penns Valley FaceBook page.
