There is some big news going on at Penns Valley High School. The teachers have been working hard all year to help the students with their education. They have even gone as far as helping students after class and during their lunch breaks. The teachers work hard daily but are tired and fed up. Almost every day they have to cover for other teachers that are absent during their plan periods. There has been a rumor going on at the high school that all the teachers are quitting. This organized plan to quit is led by the teachers Mrs. Miller and Mr. Farley. 

These teachers have informed their classes about what is going to happen. They have told their students that they are very sorry for quitting but it needs to be done. Some of the students are heartbroken but others are very excited. The teachers have told their students to not tell the administrators or their plan will not work. All the students are very curious about what the teacher are going to do after they quit. Mrs. Miller says she is going to go on a month’s vacation with the millions of dollars she makes from teaching. Mr. Baldwin said he is going to stay home with his kids so he can read books and not have to pay for daycare. Mr. Farley says he is going to open a baby boot camp led by his daughter so they can teach other baby’s how to roll, crawl, and walk. Mr. Troxell says he will use his time by mowing the lawn and learning new recipes to cook on the grill. 

 We asked Rebekah Gilespie how she feels about the teachers quitting and she said, “It is pretty disappointing to see that our beloved teachers are leaving us but I have to understand.” The rumor has it that the teachers will be quitting on April 1st. It is funny because on that day there is something else going on APRIL FOOLS DAY!!!!!!!
