As many of you may know they took out the Snappy’s in Centre Hall, Pennsylvania, if you didn’t know then you do now. Now the question is what are they putting there to replace Snappy’s? Snappy’s has been there for 25 years. There now has been a lot of talk about places people assume are going in there.
If you don’t know of Snappy’s it is a convenience store, and there also was a Subway inside. There also is a Sheetz and Dunkin across the road, so those are off the list. We are still unsure when this will all occur. People are going to have their opinion on whether they like what Snappy’s is being replaced with or not. A current student from Penns Valley, Ashley Whitsel expresses, “It was really surprising when I heard it was closing, but I think it’s time for a change.”
We also have a couple of restaurants around this area such as Brother’s Pizza, Earlystown Diner, and The Express.
There has been talk that it will be a CVS, Burger King, Rutter’s, and Wawa. If you live in the area you know we currently do not have any of these nearby unless you want to travel to State College. State College is the closest resort to a lot of popular places. That’s about a 35-40 minute drive for the people who live the whole way out in Aaronsburg, and even longer for the people in Woodward.
