The biggest body of water Penns Valley has to offer is Colyer Lake located in Colyer Pennsylvania. This lake is home to many species of fish. I tend to spend a lot of time here during the summer with my friends. We tend to fish with senkos and top water buzz baits. I would say this lake is very weird to fish. It really depends on the day when the bite is hot. Mid-day on a hot day with clear skies the fish will bite very hard on Senkos. When there is overcast with a light sprinkle I tend to lean towards a more active bait that moves more such as a square bill or a buzz bait,” they eat that stuff up for real” Ty Watson states. When you finally figure this mysterious lake out it is very fun and easy to pull at least 10 fish out a day. If you want to upgrade your experience you can opt to take a boat out on the lake. This allows you to unlock all spots on the lake giving the fish no room to hide.  Just remember that if you use a boat you are not allowed to use a gas-powered motor.

To conclude Colyer Lake is a great lake to learn the patterns of fish. I recommend if you are trying to understand fishing it is a perfect place to start. Get out there and start ripping some lips.
