Lady Rams Soccer has won against the Lady Eagles for the last three years. Up until this year, everything changed. On September 18th, 2024, Penns Valley Lady Rams fell short of Bald Eagle, losing 2-1 in the well-fought game. Both teams struggled to get shots on frame in the first half. Penns Valley was leading the game going into the second half. The Lady Eagles continued the fight in the second half, refusing yet another loss by the Lady Rams. With well-fought goals by Sydney Thompson and Sybil Thompson. A corner kick taken by Addison Burns, Sydney Thomas was at the right place at the right time. Tieing the game 1-1 with 30 minutes left of the second half. And with just only 6 minutes left to the game, Sybil Thompson just barley puts a point onto the board. The ball bounces on the line scoring another goal for the Lady Eagles. Closing up the game, Penns Valley Lady Rams 1 and Bald Eagle 2. As of now the Lady Rams are sitting at 8th in the district just making playoffs. They will take on Bishop Gilfoyel on Tuesday 10/1 and Huntington on Thursday 10/3 this week. Bald Eagle is currently sitting at 4th in the district taking on Huntington and Clearfield this week. Possibly seeing the Lady Rams again in district playoffs.
