Eagles vs Steelers
A conflict that has existed since the beginning of time, Who is the better team? Penns Valley is pretty evenly split geographically between the cities of Philadelphia and Pittsburg. This causes a close to fifty-fifty divide between those in support of the Eagles and Steelers within the Valley.
Philadelphia
As of week three, the Eagles are 2-1 with some good and bad moments. The first game they played was against the Green Bay Packers in Brazil, which was an offensive shootout. Philadelphia ended up squeaking out a win 34-29. Next, The Falcons beat the Eagles in another close game 22-21. This led to the third game of the season against the Saints in which both teams had great defensive games. The Eagles pulled out a win 15-12. Overall both the defense and offense have had their moments so far, but much improvement is needed. Possible coaching changes and different play calls could be in the near future.
Pittsburg
Heading into week four, the Steelers are 3-0 with three great defensive games. They beat the Falcons 18-10, The Broncos 13-6, and the Chargers 20-10. The Steelers have a great defense with players such as T.J. Watt helping to keep the games low-scoring. Their offense does need some work, but Justin Feilds is looking very solid.
Who Is better?
The Steeler’s record is better, but the Eagles have played some tough teams and are improving. The Eagles’ offense seems to be better with weapons such as Saquon Barkley and AJ Brown, whereas The Steelers’ defense has an edge over Philadelphia. Right now it is hard to see who is better, but time will tell. GO BIRDS!!
