Will the Penns Valley Lady Rams make an appearance in districts this year? The Lady Rams started strong this year with a 3-1 record. Victories from the following teams, Central Martinsburg, Somerset, and Westmont Hilltop. Unfortunately for the Rams, this did not last long, The Rams hit their losing streak against Clearfield, losing 2-1 in Overtime. Next, Bellefonte losing just 1-0, and then Bald Eagle 2-1. The Rams finally broke this streak against Penn Crambia winning 2-1 and continued against Chestnut Ridge 7-1. The Rams looked to carry this mojo into the next game against Bishop Guilfoyle. Unfortunately, they could not carry this and lost to the Lady Marauders 3-0. However, that did not stop the Rams, they came back in their next game against Huntington and pulled a 1-0 win in double overtime with a header from a beautiful corner kick. And an easy 4-0 win against the Philipsburg-Osceolas in the next game. The Lady Rams played against Hollidaysburg last night, October 10t, 2024, and again fell short 3-1. This was a very physical game played by both teams. Free kicks scored Hollidaysburg’s first two goals and a crosskick and follow shot for their last goal. Lady Rams got their point up on the board with a PK kick. The Lady Rams must come out strong against Central Mountain this Saturday, October 12, 2024. Disparate to gain some wins in their next games to qualify for districts and better their rankings in the district. The following games include Central Martinsburg on October 15, 2024, and their last regular season game against Tyrone on October 17, 2024.
