As a student myself during school I get hungry, some great ideas for food for after school is the Valley Wok located in Spring Mills. Valley wok is a great after-school meal if you enjoy some Chinese cuisine. My favorite and highly recommended is the appetizer crab rangoon, a delicious crispy shell holding a creamy filling of crab just the right way to start the evening. If you are craving Italian, I recommend Brother’s Pizza, located in the center hall. Brother’s is a restaurant that has outstanding Italian cuisine. A couple of my favorites is the Potato soup which is a creamy broth with chunks of soft potatoes and vegetables I usually pair it with the buffalo chicken salad but the pizza selection is outstanding with just the right amount of sauce. Other Italian restaurants like Streamside are also located in the Centre Hall an amazing local family restaurant that houses amazing and ginormous stromboli with a pairing of immaculate sauce. The Family’s love and passion is shown in every bite. Centre Hall and Spring Mills are beginning to grow in the food businesses and now there are options for Italian, American, and Chinese cuisine all in small towns. So next time you are hungry after school you have the option to help these small family businesses.
