The annual powder puff football game will be held on November the 15th this year. Powder Puff has been a tradition for many years at Penns valley High school where the senior class girls compete against  the junior class Girls in a flag football game. The Junior and Senior boys also have the privilege of competing against each other in a cheerleading contest. The classes will spend time after school coming up with a dance or cheer routine to present to the crowd at the halftime of the game.  Though a clear winner has never been announced for the cheerleading team, we hope to have a vote for the winner of the cheerleading team this year. I

n previous years the two classes have worked hard for several days to complete a cheer routine to impress and entertain the crowd and have had great success in that. This year the two classes hope to come up with something original to get the attention of the crowd.  Powder puff has been a  staple in Penns valley for many years now as many members of the community look forward to the annual game.

The powder puff game will have some cost upon entrance as it is used as a fundraiser for the school. All community members are welcome and encouraged to come and enjoy the game. Penns Valley encourages good sportsmanship from both the senior and junior teams so ensure that this can be fun for everyone involved. Please come out and support!
