The Philadelphia Eagles have had a very up and down season so far, despite their 9-2 record. The team has mainly been very inconsistent as to how they play football. Sometimes they struggle win against bad teams like for say their 28-23 win over the tanking Jacksonville Jaguars. The Eagles have mainly been led by running back Saquon Barkley which has been a huge factor as to their massive success contributing around 127 rushing yards per game this season. Some fans are calling for him to win the most valuable player award.

I talked to some Eagles fans and they have stated general happiness with their team as of this current moment. Mr.Farley, a teacher here at Penns Valley, who is a die hard Eagles fan spoke about his team when he said “The Eagles’s expectations were and they have far exceeded expectations, Saquon Barkley is amazing and I genuinely think that this team could win the super bowl.” The Eagles had very high expectations and some people had them winning the division, but we didn’t they would be in the running for the super bowl contention overall.  Also, another Eagles fan, Waityn Kerstetter, he says “I think it’s been pretty good, I think Saquon Barkley is good, Jalen Hurts needs to learn to not throw the ball deep, other than that, it’s been pretty good.” Jalen Hurts has been genuinely so-so this year at times but he is still doing enough to win games. In my opinion, the Eagles are having a good season so far but they need to hold back on depending on Saquon Barkley so much. They just need a reminder of what happened last year  to them and hopefully learn from their mistakes.

But hey, I’m a sad depressed Falcons fan so what do I know about winning or contending for the playoffs (Insert crying emoji)
