There are many amazing towns and cities across the world that are unique in their own way. I am conducting a study as to what places people like to visit or live outside of Penns Valley. Let’s hear about what the students think is their favorite.
I interviewed Julian Battaglia on this and he said “I have both visited and lived in Boston, it’s my hometown.” Boston is a pretty popular city in the U.S as almost 700 thousand people live with lots of things to do there, Boston is known for their sports, the aquarium and the famous Boston accent. I also asked one of our faculty, Mr.Farley, on the topic and he told me “I personally like State College. It is very conveniently located with everything you could want out of a city, there are a lot of stores in the area. With Penn State nearby you can get plenty of entertainment from sporting events to musical acts.” Mr.Farley was born, raised and lived in State College. Penn State with it’s around 6.3 million fans have the second biggest fan base in the Big Ten (Only behind Ohio State) and fourth largest in the country (Ohio State, Notre Dame, Texas). Another student here at Penns Valley, Emily Frank says that “I would have to go with Philadelphia because most of my family is from there and it is kind of like New York.” Philadelphia is the 6th largest city by population in the whole United States with around 1.5 million people.
In my personal experience with moving a lot in my life, I’ve lived in El Paso, Texas, Brunswick, Georgia and Buffalo, New York. I have visited over 20 states over my 16 years of life and I would have to say that my favorite place to visit would be is Myrtle Beach, S.C because of the amazing beaches there and the many different quirky shops and stops in downtown. My favorite place I lived was Brunswick, G.A because I have very fond memories of me playing in the parks and on the beaches.
