One sight you can visit is the Rockefeller tree. This tree normally ranges from 69-100 feet tall covered in beautiful lights. Every year 125 million people visit this tree. This has been a tradition since 1933.

If you want something more interactive you can go ice skating at Central Park, Rockefeller Center Rink, or Bryant Park. Here you can skate for an hour and see all of the city lights while skating.

Another fun thing to do is look at the window displays and light shows. One of New York City’s most popular traditions is the light show at the top of a department store. The light show on Saks Fifth Avenue consists of thousands of lights matching the beat of holiday music.

If you want to get out of the cold weather you should see a Broadway show at The Radio City. Here you can see the performances from the Rockettes and shows like The Nutcracker and A Christmas Carol and other theaters.  These performances will blow you away and get you in the holiday spirit.

The last thing you can do is go shopping because who doesn’t love shopping? This would be a perfect time to get any last-minute gifts for family and friends. On Saks Fifth Avenue they have luxury stores lined all down the streets or you can check out the pop-up shops all through the city.
