On Friday night, there was a Football game between the Central Scarlett Dragons and the Penns Valley Rams. The Rams fell short by one point in the close, and gruesome battle. It was a back-and-forth game with the Rams taking the early lead and a tie game at halftime. The Rams, however, did not take this game lightly and were determined to get their first win. They came back for the second half and took a 25-14 lead over the Scarlett Dragons. The first win of the year was within reach, but the Central football team was no team to sleep on. With 18 seconds left in the football game, Central scored the winning touchdown to win 26-25. The Rams were beaten and disappointed with the loss. Fletcher Ironside, the star player on Penns Valley, had scored all 4 touchdowns and had a wonderful game. The rest of the team had great games and have now found their passion and energy to get their first win. They play the 1-6 Greater Johnstown football team, Thursday Night at 7 o’clock.
