Wifi is a HUGE part of everyones life. Wether it is a school such as ours, or just at your home, or at a business. Going without wifi in a school for a long period of time messes up almost every single teachers plans for the day.

Wifi is an amazing thing… when it works properly. Every single person in our school needs wifi to do the things that they had planned for. Teachers, almost all of their plans for the day are online, wether it’s a presentation, or a google doc that the students need to access. On a daily basis, students need to access the wifi wether it is for writing a paper, just doing research for a project, or uploading and editing the announcements, they need the wifi.

On October 24, the wifi went out for all of second block and half of third block. With the malfunction of the wifi, Mr. Romig had to change all of his initial plans for the class just because of the power outage of the wifi. Third block is when I have media class, where we film, edit, and post the announcements. With no wifi we are not able to access any of the things we need to get the announcements uploaded. It is very difficult to have any classes with no wifi just because teachers plans are based around having wifi to access things.

This just comes to show that nowadays with all of our technological advancements, wifi is an essential to access the things we need to in a school setting.
