Recently two of our own Penns Valley Students have been diagnosed with a terrible disease. Both students found out that they have Leukemia. Leukemia is when bone marrow and other blood forming organs produce an increased number of abnormal leukocytes, leading to the elimination of normal blood cells. As soon as the news got around, our community knew that we needed to do something to support those kids from our home town. Instantly, one of the most popular sports here at Penns Valley, wrestling, decided to dedicate one of their home matches to these two students.

On January 7th, 2019, the home wrestling match against Bellefonte is planned to be dedicated to the two Penns Valley students, Ronnie and Rycen. The profits made on this date will all be donated, split 50/50, to both the Tickner and Musser family. At the event there will be multiple fundraisers, such as raffles, that will be taken into the donation.

Along side of the awareness night for Ronnie and Rycen, there will be a event, a vacation raffle, that gives a chance for any spectators to win. Of course there will be tickets to sell in order for your name to be placed in the raffle. Each ticket is $10 a piece or buy 5 get one free for $50. This vacation is a $3,500 trip to a Disney destination or Caribbean all inclusive vacation of your choice.
