The Christmas tradition for my family. We always go out to a tree farm and cut our tree every year. We then decorate our Christmas tree together. We put lights, ornaments, a tree topper, and a tree skirt. Then we hang stockings and decorate in and outside of our house. I also decorate my bedroom a little bit as well.

We then make Christmas cookies together. We make a lot of different cookies like sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies, gingerbread cookies, etc. Then after we bake them we decorate them with icing and sprinkles. After there done we then hand them out to neighbors, family, and friends. But keep a couple for our selves of course.

Then on Christmas Eve, we make and build gingerbread houses with my siblings and parents. We usually pair up into teams of two and decorate them. Then once we’re done we decide whos gingerbread house is the best. Then my Gram and Pap come over and we open our presents from them. Usually, my uncles and aunts come over as well. I then can see my little cousins Collins and Parker. We then have dinner together at my house and just hang around, watch tv, talk, and play with my little cousins.

Then after that long Christmas Eve, they all go home and I got to bed. Then, poof, it’s Christmas day. We get to open our presents, see family, and get to eat amazing food. And that’s my Christmas, I can’t even describe how thankful I am for my family and friends that are in my life.
