As you all know, we are still in the process of the COVID-19 Pandemic. We are able to still come to school in person but there are a lot more restrictions that are involved. We all must wear a mask the whole day we are at school. However, during lunch, we can take them off when we eat but we all are socially distanced by sitting in a desk to eat. It shows that we follow the social distancing guidelines by staying at least 6 feet or more apart.

If people have been exposed to someone that was tested positive for coronavirus, the people who were within 6 feet for over 15 minutes must have to quarantine along with the person. If a lot of people in school are quarantining along with the person, we automatically shut down and go online. Usually, we do remain online for about 2 weeks and then we see if we can try to go back in person later. Also, like in grocery stores, we still have to follow the directions that the arrows are pointing in and have to follow those guidelines at all times.

Hopefully soon, after the COVID-19 vaccine just came out in the United States, we can have things go down more with COVID and less restrictions for the schools. Make sure that you are wearing your masks at all times, staying at least 6 feet apart and wash your hands. COVID has gone on for more than a year and we don’t want to have to quarantine like last year on March 13, 2020.
