Taylor Swift is very well known for many of her old country songs. But have you heard some of her new songs? Taylor recently released a new 10 minute version of her old song “All Too Well”. Yes, you heard that right this song is 10 minutes. All Too Well is a song about a break up between Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal. Basically the song goes on about how toxic Jake was to Taylor and how she remembers what she thought was love all too well. Jake and Taylor dated when she was 19 and he was her first love and he broke up with her and left her feeling broken and the song describes that feeling perfectly. Taylor hints and points out many different clues in the new song that tell us it is about Jake. One very symbolic line that is used in the song is, “And I, left my scarf there at your sister’s house, And you’ve still got it in your drawer even now ” This line is very popular because the scarf is a symbol of Taylor’s innocence and it represents her love for Jake that was taken for granted. Taylor also released a music video depicting the events throughout her relationship with Jake and the short film has become extremely popular. The short film showed perfectly the struggle of young love and the process of breaking up. Taylor has made history with this song being top 1 on the charts and surpassing all of the ideas that a 10 minute song cannot be successful.
