Our Penns Valley high school has an assortment of different sports that anyone can join. But we are going to recognize the Penns Valley lady rams Junior high school, basketball team. The lady rams were coached this year by Kurt Troxell, one of the social studies teachers at the Penns Valley sr. jr. high school. And also coached by Mackenzie Ironside, a college advisor. Pv rams lady basketball is a family that supports each other’s successes and helps when help is needed. Coach Green, the head coach of varsity assigned mentors this year, these mentors are there to be a friendly face in the hallways and help you out with any questions you might have. The team of 2021-2022 qualified for the state team this year. Ten girls will be accepted to play and we are excited and congratulate them. Another awesome fact about this year’s team is that they won almost all their games with hard work and dedication. We hope that next year more girls will try out for the team to join our community and family. We also congratulate our 8th graders this year who will go on to play in JV next year, good luck!
