Owen Braucht

What is the best advice you have ever received and would give? Well, Sadie Robertson, a Christian influencer, has a podcast called “WHOA, that’s good!” Her podcast gives advice from her and other people like motivational speakers, Christian

singers, and her family. Sadie’s podcast gives tons of great advice that I will talk about in this article.

Sadie Robertson starts her podcast with “What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?” This one question then turns into many different subjects that all somehow turn back to the one question “What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given.”

Sadie Robertson interviews many Christian artists and friends, specifically Annie F. Down was one. She gave the advice “Don’t give up” she says that this may be a simple statement but, it’s very true and by never giving up it will change who you are as a person. She says it sets you up for success in the future and she gives an example of her wanting to give up on God, and how she was angry with him. But she then remembers her best advice which was to never give up, and she notices without failure he shows up.

Annie F. Downs thought to herself, that even when she is at her lowest and things in her life aren’t working out, she needs to think “What is good in my life?” Annie then lists these things and she truly believes that thinking and being thankful for goodwill truly change you. She then says “God is good” because the good takes you up a ladder that leads you to him, and it includes the joy and satisfaction of enjoying/accomplishing the good things that happen to you.

Sadie Robertson shares amazing advice with other people by using humor, stories, and just simple statements. Annie Downs is not the only person she talks to, another person she has talked to is Nastia Liukin, who is a 5-time Olympic medalist, in gymnastics. Sadie also talks to Christian singers and other people like family. She normally uploads at least once every week or two weeks.

Overall, what is the best advice you have been given? Does God impact you with this piece of advice, who once had told you this piece of advice? Do you personally give this advice now, if you haven’t you should really start! Giving advice is an amazing thing you can do, and truly it will help someone in the future. So remember, what is the best advice you have ever received?
