For years the Penns Valley Lady Rams soccer have not made it past the first round of district, but for the seniors of 2023 and the rest of the team have made it past the mark. On October 28, 2022 the Lady Rams soccer team made it past the first round and on 11/1 won the district!! This team has made a lot of progress with an outstanding overall score of 10-7-1. This group of girls have made the regular season a blast with winning games left and right and overcoming the challenges of other teams. Heading into the week of semi-finals, if the lady rams win, they will be heading to states. If the lady rams win the semi-finals it will be breaking the record for over 15 years since they have won districts. A word from the Coach Sean Herrmann deliberately mentioning how proud he is of this team, “first of all I just want to send a huge thank you to all of the friends and family that came out to the game on Wednesday against Bald Eagle! We couldn’t have done it without you. A huge congratulations to this entire team for never giving up and putting forth your best effort every game. I am so proud of every single one of you !” Sean Herrmann is the newest coach that has come up to help the Lady Rams in the 2022-2023 season and has never given up on any of the girls. He has made the season the best and as a senior I wish he has been the coach for years. He never gives up and made us come this far with his coaching abilities and having fun. On Tuesday, November 1, 2022 the Lady Rams Soccer Team won the district and are headed to STATES! Let’s go Lady Rams!
