Homecoming parade

Starting on Thursday, September 26th at the Centre Hall Grange Fairgrounds, the Homecoming parade will be taking place. The theme of this year’s parade is “There is no place like home” starring The Wizard of OZ! Some of the fall sports will have a decorated float that will be competing in the float contest. Others will just be completely casual and just themselves! There will be lots of food to eat while you can sit back and enjoy watching the parade.

Homecoming game

The next day, Friday the 27th the PV Rams take on the Midd West Mustangs, starting at 7:00 P.M. This will be the homecoming football game so at half time during this game, the homecoming queen and the king will be announced. Last year there was no homecoming king, but this year there is!

Homecoming dance

On Saturday, the day after the Homecoming game the 28th, the Homecoming dance will be taking place in the old large gym at the Penns Valley High School. It is from 7:00 P.M.-10:00 P.M.

More information

The Penns Valley rams football team so far has a record of 2 wins (against Fairfield & Bald Eagle) and 1 rough loss (against Clearfield).  They beat Fairfield 77-0 on Friday, August the 23rd and beat Bald Eagle 42-7 on Friday, September the 6th. When they played Clearfield on Friday, August the 30th it was a neck and neck game, but they ended with a loss and the score being 49-56. The Penns Valley football team has been very successful so far this year, and hopefully, they will be for the rest of this season.

Last years homecoming queen was Bella Culver and the runner up was Paige Kubalak! Last year 5 people ran for homecoming queen. We will see who Penns Valley thinks will best represent our school this year for homecoming queen.

For more information on the PV varsity football team, go to maxpreps.com and search Penns Valley High School. There is also news about the other varsity fall sports on there, so check those out too.
