Have you ever wondered what your Penns Valley junior high basketball team’s record 

was? Well, you’re in luck because I was a part of the team and I am going to tell you

how our 2023 – 2024 season went. We had a lot of rough games, the majority were, 

but there were also some that were pretty fun. Some background information you should 

know before telling you about the season. Most of our team has been playing with each 

other for a couple of years. Our record was 2-19 which was pretty bad, but in those 2 games we 

won were pretty fun. The other 19 not so much, we got blown out horribly for about 8 of them 

some of them being like by 40. We should have won a couple more, but sometimes the 

coaching or some of the players just fell apart.  

      I have interviewed a couple of players from the team here is Clayton Stover’s thoughts about the

season. “The season was interesting. It had some highs, but most of the time it was low. For example,

our record was pretty rough. I’m hoping for a better season next year.” This is Caden Bowen’s

interview about the season,” it was a rough start. We started off not too bad and won a game at the

start of the season. Then it just got worse and worse until the end.” Last but not least Ben Groy talks

about the season.” It was an alright season for me since it was my first season. I think the team as a 

whole played well sometimes, but most of the time we did not play as well as we should 

have.” I hope you learned something about how the Penns Valley season went.
