The yearbook club has been a staple in Penns Valley High School for many years. Penns Valley Yearbook Club has many responsibilities such as attending sports events taking pictures, and editing or producing yearbook pages. As president of the club, I would like to talk a little more about what goes into making the yearbook. Most people who participate in the yearbook club are in Mr. Farley Ram time. During this time the students who participate edit on the Jostens yearbook avenue website. The Jostens website allows editors to add graphic elements and words to describe events such as homecoming, pep rallys, and prom.
Yearbook club members work hard throughout the year to produce a yearbook that captures the best aspects of the school year. Most members of the club have some interest in graphic design which helps to ensure that we will have a successful yearbook.
Penns Valley Yearbook Club is also lucky enough to have Matt Ruoff who is also the owner of Matt Ruoff Photography a club member. Matt will go to most sporting events and even many away events to capture unique and great images that will make their way to the yearbook. Matt has been a great help in getting pictures of almost every sports team in Penns Valley. Along with Matt Penns Valley Yearbook Club is lucky to have Mr. Farley as our representative. Mr. Farley puts a lot of his own time and editing skills into the yearbook as well. Along with this Mr. Farley often plans and organizes meeting times where we discuss yearbook plans and assign pages.
In all Penns Valley Yearbook Club is a great club and a staple in Penns Valley’s yearbook production.
