A new student-led club is coming to Penns Valley and will have its first meeting on October 4th after many months of enduring through the club development process. Club leaders, Owen Braiucht, Ashlynn McClenahan, Masey Fultz, and Matthew Shawver, are beyond excited to start. “The Jesus Club is a completely student-led club! Jesus Clubs exist to see students transformed by the good news of Jesus, empowered to walk out His lifestyle, and commissioned to impact all spheres of society. If you love Jesus or are curious about what that name means feel free to come as you are! We are based out of a ministry in California and would love to welcome you in,” stated from club description.
Even more exciting news, the Jesus Clubs organization may visit our school for their well-known Jesus Clubs Tour, where a Jesus rally will be held to show that Jesus is more than just rules or religion, rather it is relationship and full of life and brings excitement! “I want you to be there, and it doesn’t matter who you are, who you have been, or who you want to be. Everyone is welcomed in this place whether you believe in Jesus or not, Jesus Clubs and Jesus himself still loves you!” says club leader, Owen Braucht. Overall, this club has made huge progress from starting in late November of 2023, in hopes of starting a club to reach the depths of Penns Valley.
