The Elks Club student of the month program is designed to recognize outstanding teenagers and students for their achievements in school and community fine arts, hobbies, athletics, church, club and community service, industry and farming. Their accomplishments should be recognized and praised, and this program allows that to happen. The Elks Club looks at Junior High and Senior High schools and they select a boy and a girl from both levels each month. The students selected will then have the opportunity to win awards.

Lydia Collison, a PV student that was recognized for the month of November, says ,”I feel very honored to be chosen along with some of my other classmates, and I’m excited for the opportunity.”

These six students were Penns Valley’s first six students to be selected for nomination. We all wish them so much luck for the rest of their time in high school and all they choose to pursue after they graduate! We are very proud and honored to be apart of the program!
