Penns Valley’s Christmas break starts Tuesday December 22nd!  I couldn’t be more excited for this time. With the long and challenging school year that all the students and staff have been through due to the changes of covid-19 this is much needed. We are off for 12 days, and I hope that every single student in the Penns Valley district and all the staff enjoy their time relaxing.This is a time for us all to get away from our laptops and not stare at a screen for 10 hours a day.  I know these holidays times aren’t the easiest right now because we don’t know if we are able to see our family and friends, but try to make the best out of what we have.

As you all know we have gotten a lot of snow. Go out and enjoy the snow with your siblings and make the most of Christmas. Stay inside and watch Christmas movies with your mom all day with a big glass of hot cocoa. After we return back to school after break who knows what will be happening with Covid-19, but we have a long ride ahead with not many breaks to look forward to. Hopefully by then we will have winter sports up and started and kids back in school. I know Christmas might not be the same for everyone this year, but make the most of it. Spend it escaping from all this technology and enjoy the family and friends you are able to see.
