The Penns Valley girls soccer team has had a good season bonding with the team. The team last year had lost many starting seniors. This year several younger players stepped up to fill the shoes of past players. The overall record so far for the lady rams is 6-9-1. These girls have had a tough season and their record does not reflect the hard work they have put into the program. Every game, the ladies worked hard and challenged the other team. Some goals scored against the ladies were simply lucky. The ladies started out the season against a tough team. Tyrone beat the rams 6-2. The next game was against Moshannon Valley and the final score of that game was 9-2 the lady rams won. Next the rams has a tough battle with Bellefonte and the final score was 2-1 Bellefonte took the win for that game. Following the Bellefonte game the rams took on Bald Eagle and the final score was 2-0, the eagles won. The rams played Hunigton and had a final score of 2-0 with the rams taking the win. Next the girls took on PO winning 4-2. The rams had a tough first game against Clearfeild with the final score being 8-1, Clearfeild won. The rams played Huntington again with a win of 2-0. Next the girls took on Tyrone for the second time with a final score of 1-0, Tyrone came out with the win. After Tyrone the lady rams took on Bellefonte for the second time and pulled out a great win with a final score of 2-0. The rams followed that game with a loss from Centre Mountain with a final score of 1-0. Next the rams took on Bald Eagle for the second time and ended with a tie in double overtime. The ladies then played PO again with a final score of 2-0 the rams took home the win. The girls then had a loss against Hollidaysburg  the final score was 6-0. Next the girls had a tough battle with Clearfeild and the final score was 3-1, Clearfeild took the win. Lastly the girls played Midd-West with a final score of 3-0, Midd-West won.  The lady rams will continue to work hard this coming week, Thursday the 28th at 6:15 they play Bishop Gilfoil for their first round of districts.
