Many Penns Valley sports teams are looking to be heading to districts. Such teams include the Penns Valley girls and guys soccer team, the Penns Valley football team, the girl’s volleyball team, and cross country. The Penns Valley guys soccer team is 8-2-3 looking to play Phillipsburg Oceola on senior night. The football team is 4-2 looking to play Tyrone for homecoming this Friday. The girl’s cross country team just won Mountain League which is huge as they look to head to districts. The girl’s volleyball team is 8-4.  Finally, the girl’s soccer team is 8-5.

Scotty Dinges of the girls soccer team had this to say about them when asked what the key to their success is so far. “They key to our success has been working as a team and just communicating efficiently.” The girl’s soccer team looks to play Bald Eagle next.

The football team looks to plaay Tyrone for homecoming in a battle. Tyrone comes in at 6-1 one as this will be a tough test for the Rams. Homecoming is a big deal so this will be a good test for both teams. As for the rest of the season, the Rams will have some tough teams to play but can make it to playoffs.

The girl’s volleyball team will play Phillipsburg which will be a good test for them and then a couple of games after that to make it to districts. Next is the guy’s soccer team and they look to play Phillipsburg Oceola net. They then will have a few games to make it to playoffs. Both girl’s and boy’s cross country have been on fire as the girls have won districts just recently. Penns Valley sports are very successful this year so make sure to go cheer them on!
