Fantasy Football Week 8 Update

Fantasy+Football+Week+8+Update

Seven weeks of NFL season have passed and accordingly so have people’s fantasy football leagues.

The top five for each major position group this year has been as follows:
QB: Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Jalen Hurts, and Lamar Jackson
RB: Austin Ekeler, Saquon Barkley, Nick Chubb, Josh Jacobs, and Christian McCaffrey WR: Stefon Diggs, Cooper Kupp, Tyreek Hill, Ja’Marr Chase, and Justin Jefferson
TE: Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews, Zach Ertz, David Njoku, and T.J. Hockenson

Some surprises on this list have been Jalen Hurts, Josh Jacobs, Zach Erts, and David Njoku. These players were either predicted to do poorly this season or overlooked but almost half way through the season are doing great. Although these players are doing great the only one I predict who can keep it up is Jalen Hurts as Josh Jacobs is unlikely to get the amount of touches he has so far along with playing harder defenses. Then the tight ends may be good but outside of Travis Kelce and Mark Andrews it is hard to find tight ends who have the same amount of consistency and targets.

Some key waiver wire players this week are Gus Edwards, D’onta Foreman, and Wan’Dale Robinson. Edwards and Foreman have become starters or major rotational pieces in their respective offenses as the players in front of them have gone down with injury. Then Robinson seems to be a target favorite for Daniel Jones and could add some spark for your team as well.

Good luck to everyone in their fantasy matchups in the coming weeks!
