The Penns Valley Rams Wrestling team this year is off to an amazing start as they come up a little over halfway through their wrestling season. The team is 10-0 with some key wins over Bald Eagle Area and Bellefonte Area High schools. They had a key win over Philipsburg Osceola Tuesday night to bring them to their 10th win of the season. The team looks very good heading into the last stretch of the season as they head into the district duals and as they look onto states as individual wrestlers.

I talked to senior wrestler Dalton Keith and asked him how he thinks the rest of the season will go. He said “ I think it is a good group of kids and we definitely have the potential to go as far as we want to in the postseason this year and hopefully win out the regular season matches.” The starting lineup for the rams is starting at 107 Connor Meyers at 114 Jack Darlington at 121 Brayden Lisowski at 127 Zachary Rummel at 133 Colten Shunk at 139 Max King at 145 Chase Fleshman at 152 Ty Watson at 160 David Martin at 172 Ethan Fetterolf at 189 Branden Corl at 215 Kollin Brungart and lastly at 285 Landen Hess.

The Rams have two more home matches this season the first one is January 24th vs Hollidaysburg and January 26th vs Mifflinburg. Come out and support your rams for the rest of the season as they look to finish the season undefeated and roll into districts and states.
