Preview of Penns Valley Football: PV vs. Central

This Friday the Penns Valley Rams will take on the Central Dragons. Last week the Rams took on the Bald Eagles and the result was a win. They got the bell back from Bald Eagle who have had it the last couple of years. Last week the Dragons took on Clearfield and lost 24-21.The Rams look to move forward after there win against Bald Eagle. Penns Valley’s first game of the season was a great way to start off the season with a crushing 77-0 win over Fairfield. The second week they took a close 56-49 loss against Clearfield. The third week they took a win against Bald Eagle. This week they look to take on Central at home. Come out and support this week and the rest of the season. Be aware of the special events happening like a white out, it changes every week. Last year Penns Valley beat Central at Central, they look to do the same this year but at home. The student section this week is Hawaiian theme so were your Hawaiian attire.

“The team is looking good so far this season,” said a varsity football player. He seems pretty confident in the team this year. After last years great season they look to get back to the playoffs and hope to make it farther then last year. Last year they fell short of making the district championship with the lost to Richland. As they move forward on this season they have the game against Central this week. Next week is away against Huntington. The week after is homecoming against Midd-West. The week after is away at Bellefonte. Then to finish out the season the last three games are away at Bishop Carroll, away at Tyrone, and then home against Philipsburg-Osceola.
