It is the new year, 2024! It’s only January 17th, and we’ve already had so much snow in Pennslyvania. So far we have had two snow days due to all of the snow and today January 17th we had a 2 hour delay. We are supposed to get more snow for Friday January 19th. This calls for a potential FID . Flexible Instructional Day is where we have to log onto zoom for attendance and then do school work at home. On FID ‘s we do not have to attend school in person. FID’s  make it so much better and are convenient because then we don’t have to go to school for longer in June. We get five FID’s each school year.

We sadly had no snow for Christmas this year, but there were light flurries for New Years! The past few years on Christmas here in Pennslyvania there has not been snow, so maybe next year?

As winter continues there is supposed to be a lot more snow headed our way. Snow days are fun, except for the fact we have to make those days up either on days we are supposed to have off for holidays or other occassions, or go longer into the summer.

It has also been very very cold and windy in PA. Today was a high of 19 degrees and a low of 6 degrees, very chilly! Next week it is supposed to be higher temperatures. we have 62 more days left of winter.
