Weather:
A white Christmas is probable this year due to cold fronts coming in from Canada in December. A white Christmas, of course, refers to snowy weather on Christmas Day. If you wake up on Christmas morning and look out the window to see at least 1 inch of snow it is considered to be a White Christmas. This is a big deal for us Pennsylvanians because less than 10% of our Christmases turn out to be white. For many people they can make Christmas much more festive and happy. Since early predictions say that a white Christmas is imminent, the build up to Christmas is even more cheerful than usual.

Christmas is a time for joyfulness and no worries but sometimes getting enough of the right gifts can be stressful. Many people want to spend a lot of money for the occasion and this Christmas has once again been predicted as the new highest spending holiday season. Here is a statistic from the National Retail Federation:
Signaling the impact of the current economic climate, the National Retail Federation predicts that holiday spending during November and December will rise to “record levels” of between 3% and 4% year over year to between $957.3 billion and $966.6 billion.
“Consumers remain in the driver’s seat, and are resilient despite headwinds of inflation, higher gas prices, stringent credit conditions and elevated interest rates,” NRF Chief Economist Jack Kleinhenz said in a statement.
Christmas is a time of generosity and thankfulness so take the measures that you can now to best cherish this upcoming holdiay season.
