The National Honor Society is excited to announce that we will be hosting a Jelly Bean Jog 5k this year on Saturday, April 11th. This event is similar to the Turkey Trot held in November, but because of the Turkey Trot’s success, this will be the first year we host a 5k in the spring.
The proceeds from this will benefit the Hope Fund of Penns Valley, a local organization dedicated to supporting families and individuals in need within our community. By participating in the race, you are not only having fun but also helping to support and make an impact on families’ lives. The Race is set to start at 9:00 am, and registration will begin at 8:00 am. The Jelly Bean Trot will take place at the Old Gregg School in Spring Mills, which allows for a beautiful run or walk!
Registration costs are $20 for pre-registration and $25 for day of the race registration. In addition to the race, there will also be silent auction baskets, giving participants another opportunity to support the Hope Fund of Penns Valley. Local businesses and communities have helped to donate a variety of items to this.
Whether you’re a serious runner or just looking for a fun way to spend your morning, the Jelly Bean jog is a great way to spend time with friends and family while supporting a great cause! Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 11th, and join us for the Jelly Bean Jog!
