After their concert at the Bryce Jordan Center, The Jonas Brothers hosted an after party at Champs bar and grill downtown. The Jonas Brothers added Happy Valley to their Happiness Begins Tour, and performed at the BJC on September 4th, 2019. The Happiness Begins tour is the largest Jonas Brothers tour yet, as there are now 73 shows total across Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

On Saturday August 31st, 2019 Joe Jonas showed up to Penn State to tailgate at the home opener football game against Idaho. Joe Jonas took Coach Franklins offer of joining him on the sideline of a Penn State Football game. Jonas hinted on social media that he would be showing up to a Penn State tailgate when he replied to a tweet that said, “Who is tailgating tomorrow at beaver stadium?” to which Joe Jonas replied, “Me👋”.

After visiting Champs on April 5th, 2019 for Barstool Sports’ best college bar Twitter contest, The Jonas Brothers returned back to State College once again. Back in April, Joe Jonas tweeted, “Maybe I got something up my sleeve if @ChampsPennState wins,” which turned his thought into a reality when Champs won the poll.Joe Jonas and his band DNCE went to support the Penn State Nittany Lions at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California in 2017. They then made a surprise visit at Penn State THON in 2017. The already excited crowd got even more excited as Jonas exclaimed, “We’re here for the kids,” and shortly after that he started a “We are!” chant.  THON dancers quickly moved closer to the stage in order to create more of a concert- like atmosphere.

This isn’t anything new though, since The Jonas Brothers also visited State College in 2008 when they were on their Burnin’ Up tour. The Jonas Brothers performed at the Bryce Jordan Center along with former Disney Channel celebrity, Demi Lovato. The Jonas Brothers ate at the Waffle Shop on West College Ave.

Before The Jonas Brothers concert in Hershey, PA they made a surprise visit to a THON teenager who wanted to go to their concert but was unable to make it. THON teen Lily wasn’t able to attend their concert due to her chemotherapy treatment, so they made a surprise visit at the Milton Hershey Hospital.

The Jonas Brothers’ connection to Penn State really started with their manager, Phil McIntyre, who is from State College, according to The Penn Stater.
