Tips to ACE those Finals!!

As the end of the semester is nearing and finals are coming up, many students begin to stress about acing all of their many finals and getting the best grades they can. But with a few simple tips, it will be nothing to stress about in the end.

The first tip for acing your finals is getting lots of sleep! Even though it may seem like you should be doing the opposite and staying up to study all night, getting a sufficient amount of sleep before your finals will help you greatly. If you don’t get enough sleep, you won’t be able to remember the information as easily and may even fall asleep during the exam, which would be pretty bad. It is best not to pull an all-nighter to study for one exam, instead, maybe create a plan or set aside a few days to study.

By setting aside a few separate days to study, will allow you to still have your free time and also time to relax. Staying relaxed is very important so that you don’t become overly stressed or exhausted, just breathe, its one test, one grade.

Another big tip is to eat! You might ask, how will food help me ace my finals? Well, eating food helps you a lot. Besides the fact that it helps you gain knowledge, your “brain food” will actually improve your attention span, allow you to properly use the cognitive area of your brain, and also keep your mind sharp and focused. Plus, who doesn’t like to eat food anyway?

A big tip for acing your finals is to not procrastinate. Procrastinating is the worst thing you could possibly do, don’t put of studying, but don’t over study, find the right amount for you and instead of focusing on every topic, instead, try to study the things that you are less comfortable with. Also, avoid cramming when studying, this is not ideal.

By following these few tips, you will improve your testing experience and hopefully help you to ACE those finals!!
