Jaylen Brown is the starting shooting guard for the Boston Celtics. This season, he has been on a tear, averaging about 30 points and grabbing 6 rebounds a game. The 6,6 guard can score from anywhere and guard positions 1 through 5. He has stepped up because the Celtics’ leading scorer, Jayson Tatum, tore his Achilles tendon in the playoffs last season.

During the season, he played in 78 games and started 20 of them, averaging 6.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 0.8 assists, playing 17 minutes. He had a career-high of 20 points against the Magic. He also improved his shooting to 39% from three. He was a secondary scorer behind Kyrie Irving. Two seasons later, he was averaging 20 points and 6 rebounds a game; he was now a primary scorer for the Celtics.
The next season, he was still a secondary option behind Tatum, getting about 24 points a game. The following season, the Celtics made it to the finals against Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors. They lost in 6 games. Brown played well in the finals, including one game in which he had 34 points. Fastforward to the 2025-2026 season brown is having a breakout season alongside Payton Pritchard, and Derrick white.
